Welcome to the Person County Beekeepers Association!
We are a local chapter of the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association,
with members of all ages, that are very active at both the state and local levels.
Monthly Meetings
We meet every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM at the Person County Office Building
304 South Morgan St., Roxboro, NC 27573
We discuss a variety of aspects of beekeeping in Person County, North Carolina including:
- Colony management
- Beekeeping and honey bee problems and their solutions
- The development of markets for beekeeping products

Events
We participate in and host a number of events throughout the year.
- Beginner Bee School every spring
- Community apiary field days
- NC State Fair booth
- Community fairs and flea market sales booths
- Special workshops on beekeeping
- Honey harvesting and extraction training and equipment sharing
- Support of NCBA Master Beekeeper program for members
Programs
Our club and its members offer a variety of services to the community and to other beekeepers.
